EPOS, a company resulting from the joint venture between Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG and Demant A/S, may start operations soon. This entry is expected as the Sennheiser and Demant partnership will come to a close this year. The audio firms have gone so far as creating a website for EPOS. The site reads that:
The Evolution of the Partnership
While the business segment of Mobile Music headsets will be part of the Sennheiser Consumer business in the future, Enterprise Solutions and Gaming headsets will evolve as a new independent company, EPOS, under the global audio and hearing technology group Demant. The Sennheiser Enterprise Solutions salespeople around the world will transfer to the newly established EPOS. The new EPOS brand will be managed under the global audio technology group, Demant. In addition, all competency teams for Enterprise Solutions and Gaming in the headquarters in Denmark will at the end of the joint venture transfer to EPOS. Demant is a market leader in audio and hearing technology, offering various unique solutions that help people communicate and stay in touch in the modern world. Meanwhile, Sennheiser is a German firm with expertise in the design and production of a wide array of audio products.
Stronger Synergy Moving Forward
President of Sennheiser Communications, Jeppe Dalberg-Larsen, will become the new president of EPOS going forward. Jeppe’s strategy is building on the legacy already built by Sennheiser communications and deliver a strong strategy for growth based on Enterprise and Gaming solutions.
